Two Paper Excellence mills taking market-related downtime

Two Canadian BCTMP mills owned by Paper Excellence Group are taking market-related downtime, according to Pulp & Paper Canada, which attributes the news about the mills to market pulp consultant Brian McClay.

The Chetwood mill, located in British Columbia, Canada, will be shut for the rest of the year, and the Meadow Lake mill in Saskatchewan will remain until October 22.

The regular maintenance downtime has been prolonged for the two mills due to market reasons.
